On Sunday, January 7th, 2018, friends, family, clergy and denominational dignitaries from across the country came together at Covenant Baptist Church to affirm, witness, "lay hands on" and celebrate the ordination of four Covenant Associate Ministers! This is the first time in the history of Covenant that so many associate ministers have been ordained at once. We give God high praise for blessing Covenant to be a part of their ministry journey. We are grateful for the time, effort and presence of our Executive Minister, Rev. Yvonne Carter and the members of the CBA Department of Ministry as we held the necessary ordination councils in preparation for this marvelous day. We are indebted to the pastors and delegates of the Cleveland Baptist Association (CBA) member churches who faithfully came out and supported our efforts. We deeply appreciate family, friends and denominational leaders who traveled across the miles on a cold, snowy January evening to celebrate and support our Associate Ministers and church! To God be the glory for the GREAT things He has done!!!
